Adobe Illustrator Ran Out of Virtual Memory Fix

When you got this notification when trying to save.

The application ran out of virtual memory. Please close some windows to free memory.

Just go to Edit > Preference > File Handling & Clipboard, and then untick the Enable Version Cue, and then just OK.

And you'll be able to save again.
